Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal insists that the biggest concern for him and his team is the international break, which means that he will have little time to analyse his side's defeat to Arsenal and prepare for a game against Everton.

The Red Devils, who went into the weekend on top of the Premier League, were humbled 3-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday, a result that sees them moving down to third place in the league table.

While the disappointment was evident in the manager's words, he was also critical about the international break, when his players will go out to play for their individual countries.

According to Van Gaal, that is going to be a problem for his team because his players won't be back until the following Wednesday or Thursday.

And that the veteran manager believes will give him less time to asses his players' fitness levels before the all crucial match against the Toffees.

"My biggest concern is that the players are flying out from London because they have to go to their national teams, so we cannot prepare for the match against Everton", Van Gaal was quoted as saying by his club's official website.

"I have to wait to see if the players are fit enough, but also mentally fit enough to play.

"We cannot train because they are coming back on Wednesday and Thursday, so it is much better to win and then you can prepare the next game.

"Before the last international break we lost against Swansea City, but we won against Liverpool after it, so we can do it, but today was a shock for me."
