There are question marks over the future of Liverpool assistant manager Sean O'Driscoll and first team coach Gary McAllister as Jurgen Klopp has asked to take Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz to Anfield.

Liverpool are now rapidly closing in on appointing Klopp as their new manager following productive talks with the German's representatives ahead of him holding further discussions with the Reds on Thursday to put the finishing touches to a three-year deal.

Klopp, according to the BBC, has informed Liverpool he wants to bring his assistants from his time at Dortmund, Buvac and Krawietz, to Anfield with him.

And if Klopp does bring in the 54-year-old and 43-year-old, respectively, questions over O'Driscoll and McAllister will undoubtedly surface.

O'Driscoll and McAllister were both appointed as part of Brendan Rodgers' backroom staff this summer.

Rodgers parted ways with former assistant boss Colin Pascoe and ex-first team coach Mike Marsh at the end of last season following Liverpool's poor campaign.

Now O'Driscoll and McAllister could potentially be out of the door at Anfield within months of arriving.
