Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has conceded that the Blues are in dire straits at the moment, but feels that in Jose Mourinho they have the best manager to guide them out of their current predicament.

The Blues have endured a difficult start to their league campaign as they sit 16th in the league standings after the end of the first eight rounds of games, having won two, drawn as many and lost four matches thus far.

They also lost their last Champions League encounter against FC Porto of the Portuguese league to further compound their precarious situation.

Fabregas, who moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2014 and helped the club clinch their first league title in five years, has admitted that his team are going through a tough time.

However, he added that Mourinho is the right man to guide the Pensioners out of their current situation, terming him the best manager in the club’s history.
