Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic is relishing his return to full fitness as he prepares with the Australia national team for their upcoming games, saying that he hopes to do well for the Socceroos and bring good form back to the Hoops.

Rogic endured a difficult campaign last term as he sat out the majority of the season due to a long-term injury. However, he has returned to full fitness and has been busy making the most of the lost time as he has gone on to feature in 11 games across all competitions for the Hoops so far.

The Australia international has netted three times and assisted a further two goals in all competitions – the Champions League, the Europa League, the Premiership and the League Cup – to help his side to climb to second behind league leaders Aberdeen.

The 22-year-old is eager to take good form back to the Hoops post the international break.

“It’s nice to be back fit and that’s sort of the main thing on both fronts with Celtic and Australia”, he told Celtic View.

“To be playing in the last international games and obviously to score as well was a bonus.

“I’ll be looking to do that this week, so hopefully we can carry with some good form and I can bring that back to the club as well.”
