Liverpool starlet Sheyi Ojo has revealed that he is relishing his loan stint at Wolverhampton Wanderers, saying that he has gained confidence and is maturing in his play.

Ojo joined the Merseyside giants’ youth academy from MK Dons in 2011 and has progressed through the ranks to make 11 appearances for the club’s Under-21 side – during which he has scored four times and provided two assists for his team-mates.

The youngster spent part of last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, although his presence couldn’t help the Latics stave off relegation to League One. This season he has been sent on a loan spell to Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he has gone on to feature 11 times, scoring twice across all competitions.

Ojo has revealed that he is relishing his loan stint in the Championship and his game is improving by leaps and bounds at Molineux.

“It’s going well and hopefully we can continue to improve and do well over the season”, he was quoted as saying by the FA.
