Former Barcelona and Valencia midfielder Gaizka Mendieta has refused to draw comparisons between Sergio Aguero and Robert Lewandowski.

Aguero and Lewandowski are two of the hottest strikers in European football at the moment and their personal form has taken their respective sides to the top of the league in their countries.

While Bayern Munich have continued to dominate German football this season too, Manchester City, after a few stutters, went to the top of the league last week through a Aguero powered performance against Newcastle, sweeping the Magpies away 6-1 as the Argentine scored five.

Both strikers have recently achieved the rare, but a marvelous feat of scoring five goals in a game but Mendieta refused to compare the Pole and the Argentine.

The former Middlesbrough man feels they are two different kind of players, who are in their form of their lives, and fans should just sit back and enjoy their football.
