Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he has no problems with Liverpool’s current transfer policy but insisted that he will have the final say on ins and outs at Anfield.

Liverpool made funds available to former boss Brendan Rodgers and he did spend around £200m over the last two summers to refurbish the squad but the results were mixed at best.

While the Northern Irishman got the lion’s share of the blame for wasting money in the transfer market, Liverpool’s transfer committee also came in for heavy criticism for the work they carried out at Anfield.

New manager Klopp revealed that he has no problems working under the present set-up at Anfield or taking advice from the transfer committee for ins and outs at the club.

However, he insisted that no player will be bought or sold at Liverpool without him giving the final seal of approval.

When asked about the transfer policy of the club, the German told LFC TV: "It is no problem.

“We have spoken about it and it is nothing. If smart and intelligent guys sit together and they want the same, where is the problem? I don't want to spend money we don't have.

“Nobody wants to transfer a player without a yes from me."

It remains to be seen whether the owners make significant funds available for Klopp to spend in January or he will have to wait until next summer to make changes to his Liverpool squad.
