Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham believes his side's hard-fought 1-0 win away at St Mirren yesterday was the mark of a great team.

The Gers took the lead in the first half through midfielder Jason Holt, but despite creating chances to score again, could not extend their lead.

And Rangers needed to rely on Foderingham making a series of good saves to make sure they left St Mirren Park with all three points after the hosts pushed hard to get back into the game.

For Foderingham, Rangers having won while not at their best is a good sign and the mark of a great team.

The goalkeeper took to Twitter to write: "A sign of a great team is winning even when you are not at your best.
