Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola believes Wolfsburg are sure to miss Kevin De Bruyne this season because what the Belgian midfielder did at the club was "madness".

De Bruyne joined the Wolves from Chelsea in the winter transfer window of 2014 after failing to make an impact at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho.

He was in superb form over an 18-month period with Wolfsburg and Manchester City swooped to snap him up this summer, stealing the Belgian away to the Etihad Stadium.

Wolfsburg host Bayern Munich in the German Cup this evening and Guardiola is certain the Wolves are badly missing De Bruyne.

"How De Bruyne played over 18 months at Wolfsburg was madness", Guardiola was quoted as saying by TZ.
