Arsenal have sent a scout to this afternoon's Serie A game between Genoa and Napoli to keep an eye on two players the club are running the rule over.

The Gunners are already considering potential additions in the winter transfer window, which is only around two months away and could prove crucial to giving their expected Premier League title challenge fresh impetus.

According to Sky Italia, Arsenal have sent a scout to take in the Serie A game with watching Diego Perotti and Jorginho his mission.

Perotti, a winger, will be turning out for Genoa. The 27-year-old Argentine joined the Italian club from Spanish outfit Sevilla in 2014 and has impressed.

Jorginho meanwhile attracted interest from a whole host of English clubs last year, Arsenal included, but eventually moved from Hellas Verona to Napoli.
