Brazil coach Dunga believes Neymar is a cut above Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo at the moment.

The Barcelona star, who scored a brace in his side’s 3-0 win over Villarreal last weekend, has been in sublime form in the current campaign.

Neymar has been the main driving force for Barcelona this season, with Messi out injured, as the Brazil international has scored 13 goals in 14 games for the Catalans, in addition to providing seven assists.

And Dunga, whose side will face arch-rivals Argentina in a World Cup qualifier tomorrow, is of the opinion that Neymar is presently playing better than his Barcelona team-mate Messi and Real Madrid star Ronaldo.

"Neymar is playing at a superior level because Messi is injured and Cristiano Ronaldo hit a very high point last year, and that's why a lot is being demanded of him now", he was quoted as saying by Spanish daily Marca.

Dunga further added that his compatriot has improved since joining Barcelona two seasons ago and that the forward has stepped up his game in Messi’s absence.

"Neymar has been improving since he moved to Barcelona and he is stepping to the fore [with Messi out of action]”, he added.

Neymar, whose contract with Barcelona runs until 2018, has scored 67 goals in 106 appearances in all competitions for the club.
