Manuel Pellegrini has named his team that will take on Liverpool later this evening at the Etihad Stadium.
The Manchester City boss has also been dealing with some injury concerns, but with Sergio Aguero fit, the Argentine has been slotted straight back into the starting eleven. However, Pellegrini is missing the services of David Silva, who is still nursing an ankle injury. Raheem Sterling and Jesus Navas will support the former Atletico Madrid man from the flanks, with Kevin De Bruyne starting behind him.
The home team are missing their captain Vincent Kompany due to injury concerns, therefore Eliaquim Mangala takes up the Belgian’s place to partner Martin Demichelis at the centre of defence. Yaya Toure and Fernando will act as the defensive shields in the middle of the park.
With Manchester United winning earlier today, the Citizens will be looking to pick up all the three points against Jurgen Klopp’s men to maintain their hold at the top of the Premier League table.
