Pep Guardiola feels Bayern Munich’s upcoming Champions League game against Olympiacos tonight is like a cup final for his side.

Although both Bayern Munich and Olympiacos have managed to acquire nine points from four games in the continental tournament, the Bavarians are atop Group F, owing to their better goal difference and head-to-head record.

The German giants will qualify for the knockout rounds of the competition as group winners if they come out victorious against the Greek outfit at the Allianz Arena.

Hence, Guardiola, who believes Olympiacos are a tough side, thinks the clash between the table toppers will carry the feeling of a final for Bayern Munich.

“We know how strong Olympiacos are. They play good football”, he was quoted as saying by UEFA’s official site.

“This game is a bit like a final for us. We can qualify for the next round as the top side in the group [if we win].

“They will not allow us much space, especially in front of their goal. Their wingers are very quick and they have some tall players too.

“We have to take the right decisions and we obviously want to score as early as possible.”

Bayern Munich, who thrashed Arsenal 5-1 in their last Champions League fixture earlier in the month, won 3-0 against Olympiacos in the corresponding fixture in September.

Guardiola’s side are also top of the Bundesliga table with 37 points from 13 games, eight ahead of their nearest rivals Bayern Munich.
