Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic looked visibly frustrated at a press conference yesterday after reporters asked him how to pronounce his name.

The Australian has been at Celtic since 2013 and insists that the question of how to pronounce his name is one he has been through on numerous occasions.




Rogic, who is preparing for Thursday's Europa League game against Ajax, was asked how his name is pronounced properly by one of the press pack.

The Australian looked back in disbelief and replied: "We've been through it so many times [laughs].
 


"We've been through it [sighs], I don't know how many times. So..it's OK", he added.

He was pressed on whether the way Rogic had just been pronounced to him was OK, and replied: "Yeah, fine, sure."

Rogic has been at Celtic since the start of 2013, having impressed at a winter training camp held by the club in Spain.

Following injury issues, the Australian has made his presence felt in the Celtic side this term, shining with strong performances.

Rogic, who prefers to operate as a 'number 10', has made a total of 18 appearances for the Bhoys in the current campaign, scoring five goals and providing his team-mates with three assists.

Celtic are in action next against Ajax in the Europa League this Thursday, a game they must win to keep their hopes of qualifying for the knockout phase alive.
