Leeds United Under-21s have been drawn to play Liverpool at Elland Road in the last 16 of the Under-21 Premier League Cup.

The date of the fixture is yet to be announced, but it will most likely take place within a fortnight of the week commencing Monday 14th December.

The Whites edged out Sheffield United 1-0 in the previous round last Thursday at Bramall Lane.

Paul Hart’s side, who are currently sixth in the Under-21 Professional Development League 2 with 15 points from 12 games, 16 behind leaders Huddersfield Town, lost their last league outing 2-0 to Nottingham Forest.

On the other hand, Liverpool Under-21s defeated Sunderland 4-3 in a thriller at the Stadium of Light last week to book their place in the Round of 16 of the Under-21 Premier League Cup.
