Rangers boss Mark Warburton is confident that his players will be in shape for their next game tomorrow against Morton despite their last clash being postponed.
The Gers were scheduled to play Raith Rovers last Saturday, but adverse weather conditions forced the game to be called off as the Stark’s Park pitch was deemed unfit to play football.
Warburton will lead Rangers into battle with Morton tomorrow and the Rangers boss has joked that the break was good for him personally as he got the opportunity to travel south of the border to London to experience some warmer weather.
The Rangers manager brushed aside concerns about his team’s shape because of the break and stressed as long as they are following their daily routine, he doesn’t anticipate any problems regarding their fitness.
Warburton told the club’s official website: “That was nice. For me personally I had a couple of days back in London with some warmer temperatures and less rain!

“It’s about maintaining a programme with the players – and if we can do that we’ll be in good shape.
“We worked really hard again today and there will be a lighter day tomorrow ahead of the game on Saturday.”
The Gers’ game against Raith Rovers has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 2nd February.
Rangers, who have lost just once in the league thus far, are currently three points clear at the top of the table with 40 points from 15 games and are odds-on favourites to achieve promotion to the top tier this season.
