Kristoffer Ajer’s agent has revealed that it is unlikely that his client will join another Norwegian side, amidst rumours of Molde being interested in the midfielder.

The 17-year-old Norwegian recently had a one-week trial at Celtic and the noises coming out of the club suggested that they are interested in signing him up from Tippeligaen outfit IK Start.

However, Molde are interested in Ajer and it has been suggested that they have seen a bid for the 17-year-old rejected by their fellow Norwegian club.

Tore Pedersen, his agent, refused to add too much fuel to the speculation surrounding his client’s future, but stressed that it is unlikely that the 17-year-old will join another Norwegian outfit from Start.

Ajer’s agent was quoted as saying by Norwegian outlet rbnett when asked about Molde’s rumoured bid: “You should take it up with Start.
