Crystal Palace and Norwich City have joined the chase for Roma striker Seydou Doumbia, who has also been linked with a move to Swansea and Sunderland.

The Ivorian joined Roma from CSKA Moscow in January last year, but after a disappointing time at the Giallorossi, he was sent back to CSKA Moscow on loan and he again found form in Russia, scoring eleven times in 21 appearances.

He returned to Roma at the end of his loan spell in December, but has again found himself sidelined at the Stadio Olimpico and is yet to play for the club since his return.

However, Doumbia has attracted interest from the Premier League and according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Crystal Palace and Norwich are interested in signing the striker.

Both clubs are looking to add a goalscorer to their squads in January and are considering making a move for the Roma man during the transfer window.

However, they are not the only Premier League clubs on Doumbia’s trail as it has been suggested that Sunderland and Swansea are also keen to take the striker to English shores in January.

He also has interest from China.

The 28-year-old has a contract until 2018 with Roma.
