Leeds United head coach Steve Evans has revealed he will listen to loan offers for out-of-favour trio Casper Sloth, Jordan Botaka and Lee Erwin.

Evans has relegated the trio to the fringes, regularly preferring other options, while he is also in the market to make further signings before the winter transfer window slams shut, something which would further restrict their chances.

Midfielder Sloth was signed in 2014 and has struggled to make an impact at Elland Road, but winger Botaka and striker Erwin only arrived at Leeds last summer.

Now all three are available on loan Evans admits, hinting at little prospect of any of the trio being involved at Leeds in the immediate future.

Asked whether the three can leave on loan, Evans was clear that playing in the Under-21s is not good enough for the trio as he told a press conference: "We just treat it on a player by player basis.

"We've made it clear that some of the fringe players need to think about getting some football rather than sitting about and playing Under-21s, which for me is about a process of learning [for] youngsters.

"For experienced players it's just about getting game time, nothing else, because Under-21 matches are never played as competitively as first team matches.

"So if the right opportunity comes for those three to go and get some game time we would look at it", the head coach added.
