AC Milan and M'Baye Niang have decided to reject the offer made by Leicester City for the striker’s services, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The 21-year-old striker is a highly rated young talent at AC Milan and Leicester City were hoping to tempt the Rossoneri into selling the player by offering good money for the young forward.

The club even reportedly tabled a bid of around €16m for the French forward, but it seems the Foxes’ hopes of signing the striker might have to wait as the Rossoneri have decided to reject their approach.

While the club took their time think about Leicester’s offer, it has been suggested that both AC Milan and the player have decided to discontinue talks with the Premier League leaders.

Leicester also prepared a contract worth €2.5m per season for Niang, but the striker seems to be keen to continue with the Serie A giants for the time being.
