Manchester United have officially confirmed their starting team and substitutes to play host to Stoke City in a Premier League game this evening.
Under-pressure Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal, whose side currently sit fifth in the Premier League, trusts in Wayne Rooney after his good performance on Friday night and the England skipper will be supported by Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard. Michael Carrick plays in midfield, as does Marouane Fellaini. At the back, Chris Smalling and Daley Blind is the central defensive pairing.
On the bench, Van Gaal can turn to Memphis Depay if he needs to bring on another striker, while Morgan Schneiderlin is also amongst the substitutes.
Manchester United head into tonight's game high on confidence after beating Derby County in the FA Cup. They will be desperate to cut the five point gap between themselves and fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur with a win.
