Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew is delighted to have returned from his thigh injury, which had kept him sidelined since the 26th November.

The 29-year-old managed to make ten appearances this season, before missing out on more than two months of football due to a hamstring injury picked up in the 2-1 away loss to Aberdeen on 12th September 2015.

The defender-cum-midfielder marked his return from the thigh injury in the 2-0 away Scottish Cup win over East Kilbride on Sunday.

Ronny Deila’s side eased to a comfortable win courtesy of goals from top scorer Leigh Griffiths and new signing Colin Kazim-Richards.
