Pedro Rodriguez feels Chelsea must win their Premier League game against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge tomorrow to boost their confidence ahead of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain’s visit to the ground.

The Blues, who scored a last-gasp equaliser to draw 1-1 with Manchester United at the ground last weekend, have lost just one of their last 10 games in all competitions at Stamford Bridge, winning five of those.

After tomorrow’s game against Newcastle, Manchester City will visit Chelsea’s backyard in a Premier League fixture later in the month, followed by PSG coming down to Stamford Bridge for a Champions League Round of 16 clash in early March.

And Pedro, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer, has urged his side to record a win against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge in a bid to increase their confidence for the big matches against the Citizens and PSG.

“It’s very important to improve our form at Stamford Bridge, to get three points at home and it will also be good for us ahead of the next games because we have some very difficult games in the next week or two, against PSG and Manchester City”, he told the club’s official site.
