Liverpool have officially confirmed their starting eleven and substitutes to lock horns with struggling Aston Villa at Villa Park in a Premier League fixture this afternoon.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp, who saw Chelsea move to within two points of his side in the league table on Saturday, hands a start to Daniel Sturridge up front and the striker will be supported by Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino. James Milner plays, as does captain Jordan Henderson, while in defence Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho are the central pairing.
On the bench Klopp can turn to two strikers in the shape of Christian Benteke and Divock Origi if needed, while Jordon Ibe is another attack minded option for the German.
Liverpool, who currently sit a lowly eleventh in the league, have been plagued by inconsistent form under Klopp. Victory today against Aston Villa would move them up as high as eighth though.
