Rangers midfielder Nicky Law has picked his dream seven-a-side team and it is composed entirely of Manchester United players owing to his allegiance to the Red Devils.

Law is a die hard Manchester United fan and when asked to pick his dream team by Rangers TV, did not hesitate in picking only Red Devils, with no Rangers players getting a look in.

Law said: "As a Man United fan it will be seven Man United players."

However, the only current Manchester United player to make it into the Rangers star's side is goalkeeper David de Gea, while in defence Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand get his vote.

"I think De Gea in goal, I like De Gea, I think at the minute De Gea just keeps Man United in games", Law explained.

"Two defenders, Ferdinand and Vidic for me. Tough, but in my era, I think Ferdinand and Vidic were as good as anyone."

Turning his attention to midfield, the Rangers star said: "The midfield three is nearly impossible. I'd go [Ryan] Giggs, [Paul] Scholes and [David] Beckham, just for some balance, but I'm leaving out some good ones."

Law, in picking his strike force, revealed that his idol growing up was Manchester United legend Eric Cantona, meaning he cannot overlook the Frenchman for a spot in his side; however adding Cristiano Ronaldo too, Law took his seven-a-side team to eight.

"Up front, my favourite player of all time is Eric Cantona. He was my idol growing up, so he would definitely be in there.

"And I don't think I could leave Cristiano Ronaldo out, so I would go with him."

Law started his career in the youth ranks at Sheffield United, then being sent out on loan to Yeovil Town and Bradford City.

He moved to Rotherham United in 2009 before heading to Scotland with Motherwell, from where Rangers snapped him up in 2013.
