Manchester United are close to securing the signature of Feyenoord teenager Tahith Chong despite interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, according to Voetbal International.

The 16-year-old winger, who has already represented the Netherlands at the youth level, is considered a highly rated talent at Feyenoord, and has been tipped for greater things in the future.

His performances for Feyenoord’s youth teams have been closely observed by some of the top clubs, and the Dutch outfit tried to make him sign a professional contract just after his 16th birthday in December, but the youngster refused to sign it.

This alerted his admirers, and English giants such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea made a beeline for his signature, but it seems that race has been decided.

It has been claimed that Chong has decided to sign for Manchester United and is close to sealing his move to Old Trafford in the summer.
