QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is hopeful his side can stop Leeds United scoring from set pieces this evening at Elland Road.

Hasselbaink was disappointed to see his side concede twice from set pieces in their 3-2 home defeat to Middlesbrough on Friday night and is desperate for the same not to happen again against Leeds.

The Dutchman has gone through video clips with his defenders as well as working on defending set pieces on the training pitch and he is hopeful any threat posed by Leeds from dead ball situations can be negated.

Speaking to his club's official site, Hasselbaink said: "We have spoken to individuals from Saturday, looked at the clips.

"Those are very important things", the Dutch tactician continued.

"We have worked on the training pitch to rectify those mistakes, and hopefully against Leeds it will be better."

Hasselbaink will be well aware that Leeds have the second worst home record in the Championship as he looks for his side to return to winning ways following their home loss to Boro.

Victory for QPR over Leeds would represent a league double over the Yorkshire club given the earlier fixture between the two sides ended 1-0 to the R's at Loftus Road in November.
