Tottenham Hotspur starlet Dele Alli has underlined the importance of not getting carried away after he won the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

The 20-year-old, who joined Tottenham from MK Dons in February 2015, was sent back to the then League One outfit on loan for the rest of the season as part of the deal.

Alli has been a revelation for Spurs in the current campaign, with the starlet scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit.

The midfielder, who saw his Tottenham team-mate Harry Kane win the prestigious award last season, has also already earned six caps for England, scoring once, since making his senior international debut in October.

However, Alli insisted that he is still on a learning curve as the youngster explained the importance of keeping his feet on the ground to develop further.
