Marquinhos is Barcelona’s summer transfer priority, although the deal will only go through if Paris Saint-Germain are open to doing business, according to Catalan daily Sport.

The centre-back, whose present deal with PSG runs until 2019, has been linked with leaving the French champions after the end of the present campaign.

Besides Barcelona, Premier League giants’ Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are also widely reported to be interested in roping in the Brazil international.

The Camp Nou outfit enjoy good relationship with Marquinhos’ agent Giuliano Bertolucci and the player's brother Luan Aoas, who are also maintaining contacts with the Blues and the Citizens.

Barcelona are willing to pay in excess of €30m to bring in Marquinhos, but PSG are hesitating at the prospect of doing business with their direct Champions League rivals.
