Inter are putting their interest in Rodrigo Bentancur into overdrive as they look to see off competition for a number of clubs, including Arsenal, in the Boca Juniors talent.

Bentancur has been tipped for big things after turning heads with his performances for Boca Juniors, with a number of Europe's elite clubs sending scouts to Argentina to scoop up information and first hand knowledge on the 18-year-old.

The midfielder, who has been linked with Arsenal, Juventus and Real Madrid, has done enough to impress Inter's scouts and according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are now racing to put themselves at the front of the queue for the Uruguayan.

Boca Juniors have Bentancur locked down on a contract running until 2018 and are sure to drive a hard bargain for their latest talent.

The Uruguayan joined Boca Juniors' youth ranks at the age of just 12, progressing up the tree until he broke through into the first team squad in 2015.
