Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son has urged his side to stay positive and keep working hard until the end of the season, while explaining Spurs enjoy a great mentality as a team.

Spurs’ Premier League title charge took a big blow on Monday when they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Bromwich Albion.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team currently find themselves seven points adrift of leaders Leicester City with just three league games remaining in the season.

The Foxes, who will face Manchester United on Sunday, need just one win to be certain of securing the Premier League title.

But Son insisted that Tottenham have great mentality and he wants his side to fight until the very end.

The South Korean international, who joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, further went on to laud the supporters for creating great atmosphere during matches.

“I think also the team mentality is important. We have confidence, we understand each other very well and this is a very big part of our play”, Son told the club’s official site.

“We have a great team here with great fans and that all makes it a great atmosphere at our games.

"Everyone is positive, we’ve been playing for the title and it’s been a good season for every player.

“We all enjoy the games and I think the fans have enjoyed them too.

"Now we have to stay positive and keep working hard.”

Son, whose side will take on Chelsea on Monday, has thus far made 37 appearances for Tottenham, scoring six times.
