Valencia have signalled that Liverpool target Shkodran Mustafi may leave the club this summer by identifying Atalanta defender Rafael Toloi as a potential replacement.

Liverpool have been keeping a close eye on Mustafi and Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants to take the 24-year-old to Anfield during the upcoming transfer window.

It has also been speculated that Juventus are also interested in signing the defender in the summer and while Valencia remain keen to hold on to their player, they are looking at options to replace Mustafi, should he leave the club at the end of the season.

And according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Valencia's scouts have been keeping a close watch on the performances of Atalanta defender Toloi, ahead of the transfer window.

It has been suggested that the club have identified the Brazilian as a potential replacement for Mustafi, and are expected to make a move for him should the German pack his bags in the summer.
