Celtic manager Ronny Deila is playing it cool over speculation he may take over as Brondby boss when he quits Paradise this summer.

Despite having led Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title last season and repeating the feat again this term, Deila is exiting the Bhoys at the end of the season.

Celtic failing to reach the Champions League group stage and then coming up short in both domestic cup competitions this season was too much for the Parkhead outfit to bear, especially as their Scottish Cup exit came at the hands of Rangers.

Deila is not expected to be out of work for long though and has already been linked with Danish giants Brondby.

He was asked about the Brondby link at a press conference and replied: "There's a lot of things going on in football and it's easy to link people to different jobs.

"As I've said, I have three games left at Celtic and after that I'm going to have a good vacation and we'll see then in the future what's going to happen."

Brondby have had a disappointing season in the Danish Superliga, currently sitting in just fifth spot following 27 games.

Deila's stock remains high in Scandinavia following his success with Norwegian outfit Stromsgodset.
