Juventus are ready to wrestle with Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, according to Italian daily La Stampa.

The 20-year-old progressed through Monchengladbach’s youth ranks before making his first team debut for the club last season when he managed to clock up just 55 minutes over three games.

But the 2015/16 campaign has been a breakthrough season for Dahoud, with the starlet featuring heavily for Monchengladbach; he has scored five goals and provided nine assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

The youngster’s impressive displays managed to attract the interest of Liverpool and fellow Bundesliga outfit Dortmund, with Tottenham Hotspur keeping tabs on the German youth international.

However, Juventus have now joined the race for Dahoud, whose present contract with Monchengladbach runs until the summer of 2018.
