Incoming Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has advised Liverpool linked Mario Gotze to leave the Allianz Arena this summer, according to the Suddeutsche Zeitung.

The 23-year-old playmaker has failed to live up to expectations since joining the club in 2013 from Borussia Dortmund and has been a bit part player at the Allianz Arena this season.

There are suggestions that Gotze could leave Bayern Munich this summer, and it has been claimed that Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are keen to sign him once the transfer window opens.

With Ancelotti set to take over from Pep Guardiola, the final decision was always expected to be the Italian's and it seems the incoming Bayern Munich manager has reached a conclusion.

It has been claimed that Ancelotti has had a conversation with the 23-year-old and has asked the midfielder to consider leaving Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.
