Bailey Peacock-Farrell is holding off signing a new contract at Leeds United until he knows the make-up of the club's coaching staff for next season.

The young goalkeeper is rated highly at Elland Road and made his senior Leeds debut in the recently concluded season. Peacock-Farrell had been expected to play more games, but head coach Steve Evans stuck with experienced Marco Silvestri as he tried to win himself a new deal; Evans' contract expires this summer and he has not yet been offered an extension.

Peacock-Farrell is also out of contract, but has been offered a two-year deal, with Leeds wanting an answer by tomorrow.

However, the custodian is not willing to easily put pen to paper without the club's coaching situation being made clear.

Indeed, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Peacock-Farrell wants to know who the club's head coach and goalkeeping coach will be for next season.

Evans is expected to leave Elland Road and there is no clarity over who his replacement might be.

Goalkeeping coach Richard Hartis, who arrived last summer with Uwe Rosler, is also moving on from the Yorkshire giants.

And Peacock-Farrell could yet conclude that the constant off the pitch turmoil at Leeds means he would be better served moving elsewhere.
