Monaco are planning to sell Radamel Falcao in the summer, following his poor loan spell at Chelsea, according to French sports daily L’Equipe.

The striker, who joined the Blues on a season-long loan deal last summer, managed to score just once in 12 appearances in all competitions for the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Falcao also endured a difficult loan spell at Manchester United in the 2014/15 campaign when he found the back of the net just four times in 29 matches.

Although the Colombia international will be returning to Monaco, it seems he will not remain at the Ligue 1 club for long.

Monaco president Dmitry Rybolovlev wants to sell Falcao in the summer in a bid to recover whatever is possible from the €60m they splurged to bring him in from Atletico Madrid in 2013.
