Callum McGregor says that Patrick Roberts is the most skilful member of the squad at Celtic.

Winger Robers joined the Bhoys on an 18-month loan deal from Manchester City in the winter transfer window and has wasted no time in making an impact at Parkhead.

The Englishman clocked up eleven Premiership appearances this season, scoring an impressive six goals and providing a single assist as Celtic claimed their fifth top flight title in a row.

And Roberts has made an impression on his team-mates too, with McGregor quickly rating him as the club's most skilful player.

Asked by Celtic TV for the most skilful player at the club, McGregor said: "Paddy Roberts I would say.

"He is just always nutmegging people in training", he added.

Roberts missed a golden chance in the Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers last month, but shrugged off the disappointment to turn on the style during the Bhoys' Premiership run-in.

The 19-year-old is expected to be a key man for Celtic next term, when they will once again have Rangers to contend with in the Scottish top flight.
