Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori’s agent Jorge Cyterszpiler has refused to rule out the possibility of his client moving to Lazio in the summer.

Lazio, who are in the market for two centre-backs, have identified Funes Mori as a possible summer target and even lodged an enquiry with Everton.

But the Toffees have no intention of selling the Argentina international and slapped a €30m asking price on him.

However, it has been claimed that a figure between €15m and €18m could tempt Everton to sit at the negotiating table.

And Cyterszpiler, who considers Funes Mori one of the best left-sided centre-backs in the world presently, still refuses to completely close the door on his client’s possible switch to Lazio.

“Lazio are a great club, but Everton do not want to sell”, he told Italian outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.

“Everton want more than €30m for him. But football is strange, anything can happen.

“He is one of the best left-sided centre-backs in the world right now.”

Funes Mori, who joined Everton from River Plate last summer, made 37 appearances in all competitions for Everton in the 2015/16 campaign, scoring five times and providing two assists.

The 25-year-old also has six senior caps for Argentina to his name.
