Released Rangers midfielder Nicky Law has insisted that it was a “true honour” for him to play for the Gers.

The 28-year-old, who will leave Ibrox along with Nicky Clark and David Templeton upon the expiration of their contracts on 31st May, joined the club from Motherwell in 2013.

Law made 26 appearances in all competitions for Rangers in the 2015/16 campaign, scoring once and providing three assists.

Although Law helped the Scottish giants to win the Scottish Championship title and the Challenge Cup as Rangers returned to the top flight after a gap of four seasons, he did not feature in manager Mark Warburton’s plans for next season.

However, the Englishman, who explained that he was pleased to help Rangers return to where they belong, stated that he will never forget the memories of him playing for the Ibrox outfit.

Law scored netted 26 times and set up as many goals in 122 appearances in all competitions for Rangers.
