Tottenham Hotspur and England defender Eric Dier insists that the attention of his club team-mates and himself has now shifted from club to country where they will try to emulate their domestic form.

The present Three Lions squad have a substantial number of Tottenham representatives, with players such as Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker all included, along with Dier himself.

The defender turned holding midfielder is happy with the fact and insists that it is important that they continue with their form, helping to take England as far as they can in Euro 2016 starting next month.

According to Dier, it is the stage where they have to forget all about their club and concentrate on playing the England way as their manager Roy Hodgson wants them to play.

Speaking at a press conference, the 22-year-old said:“It’s obviously great for Tottenham and all the Tottenham boys, and we’re delighted to be here.

“Now it’s very much an England thing and we’re all looking to bring our form from Tottenham here.

“We need to focus on the way England want to play and the way our manager here wants to play and hopefully we can do that and at the same time, bring the form that gave us our opportunity.”

England won their friendly against Turkey 2-1 last Sunday and are scheduled to take on Australia in their second at Sunderland on Friday.

Their final pre-tournament friendly will be against Portugal at Wembley on 2nd June before they take on Russia in their Euro 2016 opener on 11th June.
