Besiktas have signalled the potential departure of West Ham target Gokhan Tore by looking towards Stoke City's Xherdan Shaqiri as a replacement.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic wants Tore at West Ham for the 2016/17 campaign and the Black Eagles are open to dealing if their asking price of between €15m and €20m is met.

And in a sign Besiktas may have tacitly accepted Tore is moving on this summer, they have zeroed in on Shaqiri as his replacement, according to Turkish outlet Fotomac.

Besiktas won the Turkish Super Lig this season and as a result will have Champions League football to offer Shaqiri, something which could tempt the Switzerland international to move to Turkey.

However, Stoke only snapped up Shaqiri from Italian giants Inter last summer, splashing out £12m to sign him on a five-year contract.
