Valencia have joined Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal in the race for Amadou Diawara, according to Italian daily Corriere di Bologna.

The 18-year-old defensive midfielder featured heavily for Bologna in the 2015/16 campaign after joining the Serie A outfit from San Marino Calcio last summer.

Diawara made 35 appearances in all competitions last term, providing one assist, and his impressive displays attracted the interest of several clubs in Italy and in England, with Manchester United recently scouting him.

Besides Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, West Ham United are too keeping tabs on Diawara, while Italian giants Roma, Juventus, Napoli and Inter Milan are also interested in snapping up the starlet in the summer.

However, Valencia are the latest entrant into the chase for Diawara, whose present contract with Bologna runs until 2020.
