Serie A side Atalanta have agreed a fee with Swansea City for striker Alberto Paloschi, leaving the decision on whether or not to return to Italy in the hands of the former Chievo Verona man.

According to Italian broadcaster Sky Italia, Atalanta have agreed a fee of €7.5m with Swansea and slapped a six-year contract in front of Paloschi.

The deal, which would keep Paloschi at Atalanta until 2022, would net the striker a yearly salary of €1.5m, plus bonuses.

Paloschi is now claimed to be considering the offer from Atalanta, which accepting would mean calling time on his Premier League adventure and returning to his homeland.

The 26-year-old only linked up with Swansea in the winter transfer window earlier this year, costing the Welsh giants a fee of around €10m to sign from Chievo Verona.
