Real Betis' new sporting director Miguel Torrecilla is confident the club will be able to loan Charly Musonda from Chelsea for next season.

The winger was sent on loan to Betis by Chelsea in the winter transfer window this year, as the Blues looked to hand the young Belgian regular first team football which they themselves could not provide.

Musonda played regularly in La Liga for Betis and made a big impression – so much so that the Spanish side want him back on a season-long loan agreement.

Torrecilla is confident over doing the deal, saying all parties have agreed, but pointing out Chelsea must still sign it off.

"The deal will be discussed at the beginning of July", the sporting director was quoted as saying by Belgian outlet Voetbal Krant.

Indeed, it appears Chelsea want new boss Antonio Conte, who will only take over after Euro 2016, to sign off the switch.

"All parties agree on the loan, but we are currently dependent on Chelsea", Torrecilla explained.

Musonda has spoken warmly of his loan spell at Betis and will be hoping to enjoy a similar amount of first team football next season in the competitive environment of La Liga.
