Manchester City have been linked with a move for Celta Vigo winger Nolito, who is also attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur and remains on Barcelona's radar.

The 29-year-old winger was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona earlier this year and still remains a target for the Catalan giants ahead of the start of the 2016/17 season.

However, it seems Nolito could be on his way to England this summer with Manchester City as it has been claimed that Pep Guardiola has agreed the outlines of a contract with his countryman.

According to Tele5, the incoming Manchester City manager has reached an agreement with the winger to take him to England in the coming months and has now directed the club to hold talks with Celta Vigo.

Manchester City have already signed Ilkay Gundogan ahead of Guardiola’s arrival this summer and are expected to negotiate with Celta Vigo should their new manager want to see Nolito play at the Etihad Stadium next season.

However, they could face competition from Tottenham for his signature as it has been suggested that the club have sent scouts to France to take note of Nolito’s performances in a Spain shirt during the European Championship.

And Barcelona also remain a destination Nolito would welcome, if they can agree a deal with Celta Vigo.

Nolito scored 12 goals and provided seven assists for his Celta Vigo team-mates last season and has a contract until 2019 with the club.
