Crystal Palace, Stoke City and West Brom have all been linked with holding an interest in highly rated Leeds United left-back Charlie Taylor.

The young defender has only a year left on his contract at Elland Road and Leeds could find themselves in a vulnerable position if he asks to leave the club this summer.

Taylor shone last season in a largely forgettable campaign in the Championship for the Whites, which ended in a 13th place finish.

And the left-back's rampaging performances down the left flank did not go unnoticed as according to the Yorkshire Evening Post there is chatter over Crystal Palace, Stoke and West Brom all being keen.

The trio could offer Taylor the chance to follow in the foot-steps of Sam Byram by playing in the Premier League; Byram left Leeds for West Ham in the winter window this year.

Leeds however have just appointed a new head coach in Garry Monk and owner Massimo Cellino has set his sights on the Whites challening for promotion to the top flight.

The club will have to break their recent trend of mid-table mediocrity under the controversial Italian owner to do so though.
