Celta Vigo president Carlos Mourino believes that his club will lose the services of forward Nolito, who has been linked with Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, this summer.

Mourino is steeling himself for Celta Vigo losing their talisman, which he feels is likely to happen, but believes due to the fee they would receive the team can emerge stronger from his departure.

The president was quoted as saying by Noticias Celta: "I think Nolito will leave Celta this year.

"We would lose an individual, but would win as a team", Mourino added.

Nolito has a release clause set at €18m in his contract at the Spanish club which, if met, would mean Celta Vigo would be powerless to prevent his departure.

And Mourino insists that his club will simply not play ball with any side looking to sign the forward for below the €18m figure.

"There are no numbers. Nolito's contract has a clause of €18m. Whoever can pay it, can take him. There is not even a negotiation", the president stressed.

"What we say is that we as Celta are not going to sell for less than the €18m clause. If someone pays it, indeed, we have to let him go, whether we like it or not."

It remains to be seen where Nolito will end up, but he recently admitted that talk of a move to Manchester City has caught him by surprise.

Nolito has also been linked with Barcelona, which would mean a stay in Spain, and Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham Hotspur, who finished third in the Premier League last season.
