Clubs interested in Juventus striker Simone Zaza, who has been linked with West Ham, will have to wait until after Euro 2016 to try to get their hands on the Italian, his agent has insisted.

Zaza is part of Antonio Conte's Italy squad in the finals in France and came off the bench on the hour mark in the Azzurri's 1-0 win over Sweden in a group stage encounter on Friday.

His future at Juventus has been in doubt due to a lack of playing time and West Ham have been claimed to be on the striker's tail.

But the player's agent feels now is the wrong time to talk about Zaza's future and the striker must focus 100 per cent on the European Championship.

Agent Christian Maifredi told Italian outlet TuttoJuve.com: "The future? Now we're thinking about Wednesday [when Italy play the Republic of Ireland].

"When the European Championship ends we'll talk about it.

"We have never touched on the subject. For now, he is just focused on the national team.

"After the European Championship, we will speak about the future", the agent added.

Zaza could yet generate further interest in his services if he makes a big impact at the tournament in France.

The striker will be hoping to start against the Irish in his country's final group game on Wednesday.
