Real Madrid have set a hefty asking price for Arsenal and Chelsea target Alvaro Morata, according to Spanish daily Marca.

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that Real Madrid will exercise their repurchase option on Morata and the Spaniard is set to return to the Bernabeu for a fee of €32m this summer.

However, there has been speculation that as soon as the striker returns to Real Madrid, he will find himself up for sale, amidst interest from Premier League giants such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

While Real Madrid could opt to hold on to Morata if Zinedine Zidane wants to, they already have a price in mind if they eventually wish to sell the player in the next few months.

It has been claimed that the Spanish giants have slapped a €75m asking price on Morata and are confident that they will be able to attract suitors for the forward despite their hefty financial demands.

Morata’s performances for Spain in the European Championship have played a part in Real Madrid setting such a huge fee for him, and it remains to be seen whether any of the Premier League giants are ready to meet such a price.

The Spaniard on the other hand has indicated his willingness to move to England, and reportedly prefers a transfer to Manchester United this summer.
